Doris Qu
Doris Qu is a junior animation student at the School of visual Arts in New York. She comes from the beautiful city of Dalian in China. Designing weird creature cards for her classmates planted the seeds of her inspiration to make characters and animations. While Doris is still exploring her style of art, she is looking forward to developing her own personal animated stories in the industry. Currently, her focus is in storyboarding and character design, however she is open to growing in other areas of the animation pipeline. Her favorite cartoon is Steven Universe. She is able to resonate with Steven Universe on an emotional level and loves hoe each character grows in strength when they are frustrated. Doris likes drawing different various humans from all walks of life. She also loves to hear the sounds of the sea on the beach and enjoys knitting at home with her cat.
